Foot soaks are an incredibly relaxing and accessible ritual to tend to our physical bodies, and our energetic roots. After all, our feet are what keep us grounded! For this ritual, you will need:
- small tub or basin
- botanicals: cedar branches, fir tips, or rosemary would be particularly lovely additions, but use what's accessible for you
Begin by lighting your candles, and taking a few big deep breaths. As you fill your tub with warm water, imagine your body filling with calm energy. Set your tub up so you can sit in a comfortable spot and soak your feet. Add your Epsom salts, botanicals and optional flower essence, giving gratitude to the earth and yourself for this ritual. As you soak, take time to breathe deeply and relax your mind. Try visualizing your roots being tended to, nourished,
and connected to the earth. When you're finished soaking, take time to reflect on this feeling of grounding through journaling.
