Isolation during the pandemic has likely brought up some challenges in your relationships, particularly those you've been in isolation with. This web-based conversation is a great starting point for exploring new ways of understanding where you are, and where you're going. Challenging the ideal of romantic love as singular and exclusionary can be terrifying. But when we unpack the impact of intergenerational trauma and oppression in relationships we find deeply rooted neurochemical instincts, patterns and reactivity perpetuating relationship structures which don't nourish the whole person. We are ready for a shift. To do so, we will explore the patterns and stories, the dynamics of power, and the relational templates we’ve been given across the gender and sex spectrum. In doing so we will unpack the impact, seek forgiveness within ourselves and our partnerships, and explore tools for creating a new paradigm for connection.
