Full Moon in Scorpio May 7,
2020
This full moon is in Scorpio, driving us ever onwards towards our own possibilities. This is the time of the year full of tremendous color, new awareness, and fresh sprouts of the heart and spirit. Flowers seem to reach out to us from up high and down low, reflecting the
beautiful potential regardless of where our spirits find themselves at this time. It may not feel comfortable or natural, but the Scorpion is chasing us into a field of bright blooming gratitude. This is the time of harvest. Perhaps we have an abundance, or maybe there is less to store away this season than there has been in the past. Take a look at what you have, and use it with care. If there is enough to give, practice offering to others. If you find yourself in deficit, use what you are able
and let your needs be known. Throughout our actions, however they may vary, initiate them all with gratitude. Start with an acknowledgement of your own power. This moment alone does not define you; it is but a glowing grain of sand on an infinite thread. Like the roots below the soil, there are forces and energies at work at all times that we may not see, but certainly exist with. Surrender to the energies that love us, and want us to thrive. Say yes even when it feels ridiculous or useless.
Scorpio is our trainer at the boot camp of self-love and radial acceptance.

Cultivating Gratitude
Here's a simple gratitude ritual you can do at home: every time you wash your hands for those glorious 20 seconds, give intention wherever it may be needed. Offer a prayer to others, a moment of thanks to those you know who keep you afloat, or to individuals you have never met such as doctors, nurses, and healers around the world. Send your radiance up and out, breathe into it as you lather and rinse.

MOTH MEDICINE
Butterflies are beautiful. They elegantly teach us how to grow and take flight through the efforts of patience, and letting nature run its course in our lives and spirits. Their vibrant colors and carefree temperament reflect our inner states of naturally existing joy, which is always there as part of our emotional colorwheel. Beginning as caterpillars and transforming into a creature of flight, they symbolize rebirth, change, innocence, and hope.
But what about their cousin, the earthy and nocturnal moth? Just like butterflies, they start as larvae and build a safe space for themselves to grow in. They are also pollinators; a vital part of the ecosystem. They work at night, ensuring the continual growth of the precious plants and medicines of each region they live in. While in their cocoon, they also undergo dramatic change, emerging as very different beings than they once were- yet still themselves.
Like butterflies, moths also retain memory. They don't begin as fresh life forms, but have the capacity to recall information from their previous phase on the ground. As complex living beings, we need this ability too. In fact it seems that without the capacity to recall our past, we may have trouble growing from it. It can sometimes be painful, and often is. Moth shows us how we can treat this process.

CINNAMON ABUNDANCE RITUAL & SPELL
Cinnamon has long been used to bolster and uplift abundance spells! Engage with the energy of prosperity with this simple ritual and spell you can easily work at home. This spell is perfect for drawing down the naturally abundant energy of the full moon, but can be done at any phase - especially as the moon waxes in its own abundance.
YOU WILL NEED:
- -A jar or bowl of water
- Cinnamon sticks, cinnamon bark, ground cinnamon, or cinnamon essential oil
- 6 coins of any kind
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place your jar or bowl of water at your altar, and consecrate by burning your favorite herbs, by ringing a bell, or by invoking divine energy with focus on ABUNDANCE, and blowing on the jar.
- Add your 6 coins to the water. For each coin, offer an intention such as, "I wish to invite financial abundance, " "may my path to prosperity be cleared."
- Spin or tap the surface of the water with your fingers, letting the water know who you are.
- Add your cinnamon (sticks, bark, powder or oil), and place at a window, or anywhere the night sky can reach it. Let it stay overnight to absorb the full energy of the moon.
- The following day, add your water to a ritual tub, a foot bath, offer to houseplants (only if free from cinnamon oil), or simply . Leave the coins at your altar, distributed throughout until the next full moon.
Happy casting! May the abundance you seek be illuminated by the fullness of the moon.

From our latest post;
... Hand crafts are an expression of an endangered magic, often taken for granted in the shuffle of the modern. The history of a people and countless generations are cast into a loom, and worked into a simple basket. They can only truly survive through the dedicated practice of the living. We carry countless generations in our blood. There is a part of each and every one of us gifted at birth with the skills and
wisdom of our heritage. Like a bird, building a nest simply because it feels called to through the echo of its forbearers. It is an expression of living ancestry. Like us, a woven tapestry is made from the earth- employing plant, animal, and human, and brought to life through our physical bodies. They are the product of burden and care. They contain multitudes upon multitudes, just as we do....
