Full Moon in Libra April 7,
2020
Hello, love. How are you holding up with all that is changing and shifting day to day right now? Are you finding creative ways to be in sweet community, even amid more physical distance from one another? We at Seagrape remain with you and dedicated to the important work of
claiming and cultivating community, self care and pleasure. Our online events so far have been lovely and nurturing and we appreciate the ways in which our community is showing up for and with us and one another right now.
The full moon phase corresponds to the time in the growing cycle where the flower emerges and prepares to bloom. In this time of physical separation and varying degrees of isolation, do you feel the seeds of something new germinating within you, under the light of the biggest, brightest Super Full Moon of the year? With this radiant moon arriving in Libra, the sign of harmony and relationship, we are given the invitation and the astrological energy to seek balance,
peace and connection in new and creative ways—and these will serve us long after this period of global uncertainty ends. We are learning new ways to be in relationship with ourselves and with one another and we at Seagrape are so very grateful to be doing this with our global coven of sweet babes.
How fitting that the Super Full Moon in Libra on Tuesday, April 7 is also traditionally known as the Pink Moon. In case anyone asks you at your next online happy hour, it got this name—according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac—not because it actually appears pink, but because it often arrives with the early blooms of moss pink, better known as creeping phlox or moss phlox. So go outside and enjoy the blooming flowers today reminding us to be our
fullest authentic self even in the most difficult times!

Cultivating Spring Abundance in Time of Uncertainty Tarot Spread
Times are turbulent babes, but we can harness the abundant energy of the Libra Full Moon to grow little seeds of pleasure, beauty, and gratitude!
1. How can I cultivate beauty in this time of uncertainty?
2. What can I do to tend to my Pleasure right now?
3. How am I abundant in my life?
Take a few moments to journal about this spread, and if you feel stuck simply make a list of the following to place on your Altar or in a visible place:
- things you find beautiful (how can you encorporate them more into your life?!)
- what do you find pleasurable (add it to your daily to-do list… you’ve got the time!)
- how abundance is present in your life (let this turn into a gratitude list)
PINK as Magical Ally
As the magnolia, cherry and plum blossoms rain pink snow down on the empty streets of the city, the effect is undeniable. Taking a moment to watch the petals flutter down will almost automatically create a sense of calm within us. The Magical information of our pink allies is here to help us through this difficult time, take a moment to cultivate it this Full Moon in beauty-loving Libra.
An ally of Venus, the color pink is used for emotional love, tenderness, romance,self-love, peace, emotional healing, inner harmony, and friendship. Can you take a walk (6ft apart from others!) outside to enjoy all the shades of pink popping up around you?
Here are some simple ways to welcome this calming color into your life:
Pink flowers: magnolia, apple blossoms, cherry blossoms, plum blossoms are all edible. Try adding them to your drinks, salads, or whatever else you're cooking up!
Pink gems: set these on the edge of your tub during a bath, but the bed to welcome sweetness, on your Altar to cultivate resilient self-care, in the corners of your home for gentle guidance and protection. Some favorite pink gems are rose quartz, pink tourmaline, and pink opal. OR just paint a rock pink, its a DIY situation out here.
Pink candles: all shades! Try a Love, Fertility, or Healing candle to invite Venus energy into your home this Full Moon.
Pink decor: change your screen saver to art or an images with lots of pink in it, put pink sheets/ pillows on your bed, wear a pink outfit around your house, put on the brightest shade of pink lipstick you have, dig up those pink colored glasses!

Making Space for JOY
When you think of the words house and home, how do they differ from one another for you?
A house might be thought of as the structure, a building—a space that holds things and provides a roof for shelter. The house may very well have its own magic, but a home is the aliveness of the place and the space, energized and animated by the intentions, thoughts and actions of the people who make it home and those who are invited in. A house may be beautiful and even magical, but a home can be our
sanctuary, our anchor point and the heart of our practice. How do we make sure the house and the home are in harmony, working together to create the welcoming, sacred space we want—especially when so many of us are spending much more time at home these days than we typically do?
Start by setting aside a time when you can feel truly present and focused. In the room that you want to declutter, both physically and energetically, sit comfortably as near the center of the room as possible. Put on your favorite soothing music, light a candle (we recommend the Home or Full Moon candles, but any white or brown candle will do) and meditate for 5 to 10 minutes—until you feel settled in the space. When you feel inspired to do so, speak the following—aloud if possible:
House and home and hearth and heart
Every room and every part
Grant me clarity to observe
The things here that no longer serve.
Softly open your eyes and take your time looking thoughtfully around the room. What is in harmony with how you feel and your intention for the space? What, on the other hand, feels out of place—like energetic clutter within your sacred space? What comes up may surprise you.
While inspired and attuned, gather the things that you now know are ready to find a new home. If you have a buy nothing group where you live, post these objects there and feel the joy of sending them to a new home, while making room in yours for something that brings you joy and harmony. Be ready for that to be merely the space that those things once occupied.
