New Moon in Sagittarius November
26
Make a wish this new moon. Sagittarius is known as a lucky sign and what better time than a new moon to manifest a wish or deep desire. The spirit of the Sag new moon is optimism and stretching yourself by exploring. Exploring can look
however you want it to from cooking without a recipe, taking yourself out on a date and getting lucky, to booking a cheap fare across the globe. Now is the time to think outside your norms utilizing the courageous, boundary pushing energy of Sagittarius to dream bigger and aim higher. If you were to recreate a part of your life - what would it be? How would it look? How would you feel and how do you want to feel? Design and give voice to your ideal outcomes. Burn a red, gold, or
green candle and read the answers aloud to yourself. Mote it be.

Tarot Meditation: Temperance
Meditating on one card throughout this moon phase may be a practice that both helps connect you further to the tarot, while learning more of the complex facets of this zodiac phase. This moon's Sagittarius sign is deeply connected to the Temperance card, giving us an opportunity to relish in this card's energy of healing, creation, and power through movement. The figure in the card is seen pouring water between cups, a process called "tempering" (a slow process of integration that leads to the perfect middle state like making chocolate). This card reflects Sag's desire to learn and experience the world, creating something new from all the various information gathered and leaned.
Meditating on one card can look like journaling about the imagery, making it your background photo on your phone, or placing it on your alter. You could also place it next to your Year Card to see how they highlight one another. However you commune with this card's energies of finding the pleasure in balance no matter the circumstance, be sure to be open to finding sweetness in the unknown.
How are you taping into this Alchemical energy during this New Moon? How are you using what you have to create something new and even more magnificent?
Meet your plant allies: Lemon Balm (Melissa Officinalis)
Sacred to the goddess Artemis and named after the Greek nymph Melissa who nursed Zeus with honey, this plant ally has a long history both in lore and medicinal use. Known to help ease anxiety, to ward off evil, and soothe digestion, lemon balm encourages us to branch out into the unknown with faith in our own versatility.
Lemon balm's relationship with bees can teach us so much about knowing how to venture out to the unknown, and having the knowledge when to return home to yourself. One way to meditate on these qualities is to interact with the plant and its own ally. Try the bellow recipe for lemon balm infused honey, and sit with this plant's energy of cheer and peacefulness in the everyday. Think of the small acts that can nourish us through this season and the
spaces that are calling for adventure into the unknown.

-Turn the jar over at least once per day.
-Allow the mixture to infuse for at least one week, though the longer you leave it the stronger the flavor will be. Try 2-3 weeks if you have the time.
