You will need:

• A bundle of dried lavender, rosemary, and cedar (for tranquility, clearing, and protection, respectively)
• A white candle
• One lemon, sliced in half

First, slice your lemon in half, and leave one half on a plate in each side of your house (or on each floor of your house, if you have multiple). Lemon is a powerful energy cleanser, and these slices will absorb any stagnant energy left behind after your ritual over the next few days. Remember to throw them out after this point! Next, open as many windows as you can before you get to work with the smoke cleansing—this will allow the stagnant energy to leave! Then, light your herb bundle and waltz through the house. Pay particular attention to corners, nooks, and, if you really want to go for it, crawl spaces and attics. Simply allow the smoke to drift, and visualize all of the energy you're ready to release being absorbed by the smoke and carried out through the windows. 

Finish your ritual by lighting your white candle in a high-traffic energy center in your home (maybe this is your hearth, if you spend a lot of time in the main room, but it might also be your bedroom or your bathroom, depending). Set an intention for your home for the lunar cycle ahead, inviting any of your house spirits to participate if you work with them. Allow this candle to burn (with supervision) throughout the remainder of the day.
