Hey babes,
There is so much pain and uncertainty in the world right now—and if you're feeling overwhelmed, you are not alone. It can be hard to know what to do, how to show up, or where to even funnel our attention. But we believe in the power of small, intentional, imerfect actions. We believe in community care, and in doing something, anything, we can.
This week, Seagrape is working on the following:
We’re donating 10% of all in-person and online sales to support the incredible work of @mealsonus.pdx, a grassroots project feeding immigrant families who are afraid to leave their homes due to ICE abductions. Our goal is to help them purchase groceries from their current wishlist to nourish families in need. (you can also purchase some things
for them directly)
We’re also running in-person raffles in the shop to raise funds for @pal.humanity—a global relief initiative led by two Palestinian women doctors bringing urgently needed supplies and aid to those most impacted by the ongoing genocide.
Whether you're stopping by the shop (open
Wednesday–Saturday, 11–5) to donate, grab a raffle ticket, or just sit with us for a cup of iced tea—we welcome you. We’re here to listen, witness, hold space, to grieve and be tender with you.
Online orders count, too. Every dollar helps us extend care beyond our walls.
This is a time to come together, to soften where we can, and to let our love (and our anger) move us toward justice. If you're looking for more info on Palestine, this All Out for Palestine toolkit may be helpful.
Let’s do
something—anything we can.
With solidarity,
Rue + the Seagrape witches
