Hot Witch Summer is officially underway, and what a radiant, tender start it's been.
Â
We gathered under the bright light of the Solstice to honor what’s blooming and to hold space for what’s fading. Some of us were full of creative fire, some holding deep grief—and most of us? Both. Because pleasure and grief are not opposites; they are siblings, and we as witches can hold multitudes.
Â
To those who joined us: thank you for weaving your magic with us. From typewriter spells to collage visions to shared meals and laughter, it was a true Hermit-season blessing—rooted in reflection, yet alive with connection.
And if you weren’t able to make it this time, the portal is still open. The Solstice is a powerful turning point,
alive with possibility. Let it be soft.Â

A Little Spell to Carry Forward
Â
You’ll
need:
A mirror
A candle
A small bowl of water
Your favorite oil or scent
Â
Speak aloud (or write your own spell):
I am a creature of sun and shadow,
Of depth and delight.
Pleasure finds me, even here.
Grief softens me.
I am a whole world,
Held by the rhythm of the season.
Â
Â
Gaze at yourself in the mirror. Anoint your wrists and heart with the oil. Dip
your fingers in the water and bless your face. Let the candle burn while you journal any reflections you have about the Solstice.Â
