Today's SPELL:
Set an intention for the Autumnal Equinox and write an affirmation, poem, or do some journaling about the Abundance of Fall. What are you celebrating? Some intentions aligned with the fall equinox: cultivating a
gratitude practice, celebrating successes from the past year, honoring death and release, gathering your "harvest" or the fruits of your labors, releasing or shedding what's hindering your growth, self-exploration, developing intuition, and building self-trust.
Offer yourself some creative
writing time to get clear on your intention for the season ahead— as Tal Woods says, this is a process of unearthing! Once you're clear on your intention, summarize it and write it on a post-it. Be clear and concise—no more than three sentences.
Stick your post-it to a mirror you look at often.
Keep it up until Winter Solstice, saying the affirmation out loud whenever you see it. Burn the affirmation in a Solstice fire to release your intention and welcome the seasonal change!
The practice of regularly tuning into ourselves as sensual, energetic beings can create this delicious and frenetic
buzz of magic within. If you're in the PDX area, join us this weekend for all the fall equinox magic! Friday will be exploring intuition; what we
know, what we think we know, what we suspect will be uncovered. Saturday is for connecting with the earth as the season shifts; what resources we have, what is to be harvested, composted. And on Sunday we hold these multiplicities with community. RSVP to have a seasonal spell sent to you (whether you're local or not- it's juicy magic!) and join us!
