How do I make life feel like it's in Full Bloom?

Our best advice? Romanticize your life. Add that edible glitter to every drink you ever have. Wear the beautiful perfume imported from Canada because it makes you feel like Aphrodite reincarnated. Slather yourself in your favorite body oil because it makes you feel un-shakably connected to yourself. Full Bloom is all about living life out loud and leaning into those moments of Fuck Yes.

A Sticky Sweet Spell

Where there is a flower in bloom, so too are there bees. As we honor what it feels like to exist in full bloom, so too should we honor the systems that make this possible. Community. Honey bees intristically know what humans are slowly starting to understand: we can't do this alone. Everything the bee does is in service to one another, every action a step to build comfort and safety for each other. As we curiously navigate our own experiences, how can we amplify others and empower them in their bloom too?

Here is a sticky-sweet spell to help with contemplation.

You will need:

a spoonful of honey (agave is a delicious vegan substitute!)
a yummy snack (I prepared some baked brie and bread with diced strawberries on top, but you can easily do this with a banana or apple)

Prepare said yummy snack, and then slowly drizzle the honey over it. Notice the movement of the honey, how slow, methodical, viscous it is. Notice how deliberately the honey falls. Take a bite and savor the sticky sweetness. Express gratitude for the community that made this meal possible for you, and express gratitude to self for putting it together.

Consider the parallels here. Where we deliberately put our energy (where we pour honey) is where we see results. How do our actions help other folks? Where can we adjust to help other people too?

Grounding and Protection Practices. As you deepen in your own craft, you will grow more aware of non-self energies and more apt to perceive entities. As we move towards Autumn, the energy of our inner and outer worlds become busied with the release of summer and the harvest of our accomplishments, failures, lessons, and blessings. This is an ideal time to focus on cutting energetic ties to the past, tending to the growth you’ve experienced over the last few seasons, and ground into this bountiful season of initiation.
