These next few days are a time to release and make space for the glowing embers of a new self. As the moon wanes, we honor the dark void, the keeper of all possibilities and potential. Tug on ritual tools for grief, fluidity, and transmutation to hold you now;
emotional processing can feel like getting caught in a riptide if you move without care.
Try building a ritual
bath for yourself to honor this new moon. You'll
need:
- 4 tbsp. dried lavender and
eucalyptus
- 2 tbsp. epsom
salt
- Your favorite bar of soap
Begin your ritual by creating an infused bath tea. Add your herbs to a small pot of water, and simmer on low for ten minutes. As your herbs simmer, reflect on your inner landscape.
What needs loving witness, reflection, or a firm hand?
When your herbs are done, strain the botanicals out and add the tea to your bath water along with your salts and any additional medicine. To stir up deep, cemented emotion, add a few drops of Deep Blue essence to your bath. Soak in this herbal bath for as long as you need. You deserve care, rest, and relaxation — let yourself linger until you feel any aches begin to unwind and soften. Try calling on Ocean Bar to scrub away any areas that feel thick and heavy with old stories, fear, or anxiety (this soap is incredible medicine for inviting in flow and mutability!)
When
you finish your soak, let the water drain away and imagine any stuck energy flowing down the drain and back into the earth. Return your soaked botanicals to your garden as an offering of gratitude.
