In the thick of the dark season, it's not unusual to feel a little cramped. Stepping into the light of spring is an act of rebirth—of opening, shedding, and awakening. As the earth around us begins to shrug off the stagnant energies of winter, release the old, protective layers keeping you from being the babe you are!

Today's Journaling Prompt:

Which of your intentions, dreams, and desires have gone dormant during the dark season? How can you prepare to bring these dormant parts of yourself into the light and warmth of this spring season?

Today's Spell:

STOKING THE FIRE CANDLE SPELL

As winter loosens its hold on the earth, the intentions we held so closely during the dark, rich quiet start to unfurl under the seedling sun—now is the time to step towards your desires with renewed energy, cast spells with revitalized intentions, and welcome the rebirth of your stagnant dreams into the waking world. Allow these desires into the light of day, babe! They're worthy of being witnessed, and now is the perfect time to shower them with encouragement. For this spell, you will need:

A pink or yellow candle
A scrap of paper
A red pen or pencil
A fire-proof dish

Sit with your candle in a safe, warm, and bright place. Spend some time considering your intentions for this season of rebirth—what are you ready to re-awaken and revitalize? What are you ready to leave behind in the stillness of winter? As you light your candle, visualize the fluid warmth of the flame melting away any lingering doubt, hesitation, and confusion you may feel clinging to your desires for this new season. On your scrap of paper, write out the desire you're ready to re-awaken, and burn it in your fire-proof dish.
