SPRINGTIME SIMMER POT

The best thing we can do for our creativity on the cusp of the spring season is make room—open your metaphorical (or literal!) windows and doors, clear the dust off of every surface, and throw out whatever is stoking your doubt. Winter time offers us the time and space we need to process, reflect, and root down into that which grounds us. As we prepare to make the transition into the spring months, we begin to look outward yet again. Welcome your creative spark, inspiration, and visions back into your home with this seasonal simmer pot! You will need:

• Sliced orange

• Sliced lemon

• Sliced strawberries

• Dried lavender

• Rose petals

• Vanilla 

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add all of your ingredients—then turn it to a low simmer. Leave this pot to boil on your stovetop for the next hour (making sure to add more water to your pot as it evaporates into steam). Visualize the scent of the fruit, herbs, and flowers winding their way through your home, around your body, and out into the air. Allow these gorgeous scents to spark energetic movement, clearing out all stagnation from the very foundations of your sanctuary.
