Small Spells for Pleasure: making space for pleasure

Welcome to the fist video in our series- Small Spell for Pleasure!

Today we are talking about making space for pleasure. Prioritizing your own spark, your joy, your ecstatic desire is DEVOTION work. When we make space for ourselves in these ways we take up more room in our lives, and in the world. This work can feel extra sticky if you grew up in a household where your desires and curiosities weren't encouraged. Many of us were trained out of our Pleasure by capitalism and systems of oppression, and now we have to do the work of coming back to ourselves. Lets take some small steps back to the amazing, sensual, and magical creatures that we are by weaving Pleasure Spells together!

December's theme is Basking in your Glow- all about reflecting your light back to yourself.

It's the perfect time to slow down and feel the changing season in your animal body, creating a more intentional practice, and prioritizing the things that are important to you. Making space for your own Pleasure is tending your flame- no-one else is going to do this for you. As we gear up for Winter Solstice and the New Year I am excited to see you take ownership of connecting back to yourself, your Pleasure, and your own Magic!

Building a Pleasure Toolbox:

Start by making a Pleasure List! What 10-20 things fill you with ecstasy? Write them all out in a notebook, circle the top 5.
Put that list somewhere you spend a bit of time- the kitchen, bathroom, or tack it to your mirror.
Do the meditation in the video with me. Then practice it again later in the day. How did it feel?
Write the prompt on a post-it and put it somewhere visible. Invite Pleasure in every time you read it.
Reflect on your experience by journaling or sharing with us in the Babes!

Small Spell:

While brushing your teeth in the morning for the next 7 days place your other hand over your genitals and for the 2 minutes you're brushing ask your body what it desires. Feel the feeling that come up, then jot any information you get in your notebook.

That, babes is a POWERHOUSE morning practice.
