New pricing + an exciting community update

Hey babe!

As I flip though my 5 year planner and reflect on last year as a whole I am filled with so much gratitude for this amazing community- for YOU!

You have shown up to celebrate our growth and wins with us, help us through multiple break ins, and keep us thriving through the uncertain climate of this pandemic. I wake us feeling incredibly lucky that this gets to be my job every single day!

Having the first few weeks of the new year under our belt I can see the trajectory and impact Covid has had on small businesses and the supply chain systems we rely on. Shipping and supply costs have gone up dramatically and some things have become completely unavailable over the last 2 years. I know you don't get to see the entirety of what happens on the backend day to day operations at Seagrape but rest assured it's been unpredictable, and let’s just say a journey.

I have my eye on the prize though! I look forward to working with incredible small businesses and brands daily, I rejoice at every single online order (especially if we're asked to include a little love note!), everyone on the Seagrape team finds ways to celebrate the smallest of accomplishments and reminds each other to find pleasure and joy in the chaos.

So, it's time to make some adjustments that will support our sweet biz, our community, and our global suppliers as we all navigate the waves of uncertainty with our values intact.

Our Seagrape houseline prices are set to increase on January 30th to accommodate the increased cost of packaging and raw materials we use to make our beautiful products. Shipping prices may also be affected, though we will continue to offer free shipping on orders of $100+ within the US. Please shop the houseline at the current prices and stock up on any goodies you're in love with before the switch at the end of the month!

Community Update!

Welcome our newest babely hire, Eila! Give her a warm Seagrape welcome!

Hey y’all - I’m Eila and I’m the new shipping assistant here at Seagrape! When I’m not packing your orders I’m probably making art - I love printmaking and drawing especially, and am always working to combine traditional crafting techniques, such as sewing and weaving, into my practice. I also spend much of my time admiring my cats - a full time job which I am happy to make sacrifices for. Please do ask me for cat pics - their beauty deserves to be shared ;). Whenever possible I love adventuring outside, communing with plants and foraging. I am always happy to talk true crime podcasts, medieval art, mental health, your most recent knitting pattern and queer fiction. I’m super excited to be a part of the Seagrape community, if you catch me stuffing boxes with crinkle paper or experimenting with new gift wrapping techniques don’t hesitate to say hi!
